For EAGxNordics 2026, we are launching the Effective Endorsement, a pilot initiative to bring more people into EA thanks to existing community members. If you are part of the EA community in one of the Nordics or Baltics countries, we invite you to participate!

Here’s how it works

1. You reach out to people in your life who you believe would make a valuable contribution to the community and the conference, encouraging them to learn about EA and apply to EAGxNordics 2026.

2. You fill out this form. You also ask that person to write down as an answer to the question “Did someone encourage you to apply?” in the application form.

3. If this person gets familiar with effective altruism, applies to EAGxNordics 2026, gets accepted and registers, we will donate 400 SEK to a GiveWell-recommended or EA-aligned charitable organisation of your choosing.*

Important caveats

• To take part in the initiative, you also need to be accepted and registered to EAGxNordics. So, if you haven’t already, don’t forget to apply!

• The person/people you endorse must be new to EA. This must be their first EAGx ever.

• To make it easier for them to upskill, we have gathered several useful resources here.

*Donations are made directly by the organizers, are subject to eligibility criteria, and must not benefit the endorser or their close associates. The total donation amount per endorser is capped at 1200 SEK. Total budget for the initiative: 6000 SEK.
